Any Questions?

Call, WhatsApp, or drop us a line.

We’re a small family hotel — a real person reads every message and picks up every call. Ask us anything, from room availability to weather, taxi rates, group bookings, or the best place in town for momos.

For the best rates, book directly with us — no booking sites, no extra fees. For everything else, just leave us a note below and we’ll reply within a day, usually the same afternoon. If it’s urgent, WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us.

Quick Answers

Frequently asked questions.

A quick round-up of questions we hear most often. If yours isn’t here, just send us a message above — we’ll reply the same day.

Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, gladly! We organise private taxis from Guwahati (LGBI airport), Tezpur (Salonibari airport) and the Tenga railhead. From Guwahati, the drive is usually two days with a pleasant overnight at Bomdila or Bhalukpong. Share your arrival details with us and we’ll quote a fair price and arrange the permit stops along the way.
What’s the best time to visit Tawang?
Our two favourite windows are March to June (lush valleys, rhododendrons in bloom, all the passes open) and September to November (clear skies, perfect mountain photos). Thanks to the new Sela Tunnel (opened 2024), we’re reachable year-round now — even deep winter has its own snowy charm.
Can the hotel arrange my Inner Line Permit?
Absolutely. If you’re an Indian citizen, just send us a scan of your photo ID and we’ll arrange the Inner Line Permit (ILP) before you arrive. For international guests, a Protected Area Permit (PAP) is needed — we’ll point you to a trusted operator who can help you apply.
Is there Wi-Fi in the rooms?
Yes — free, high-speed Wi-Fi in every room. Good enough for video calls, work emails, and evening streaming. On the rare day the valley connection takes a nap, we switch to a 4G backup so you’re never offline.
Can you organise the Bum La day trip?
Of course! We recommend starting at dawn. The trip usually includes Bum La Pass (15,200 ft on the India-China border), Madhuri Lake (PT-13 / Sangetsar Tso), and the 1962 war memorial. We handle the special DC’s office permit the day before — you just need two nights in Tawang first to acclimatise.
Can I pay by credit card or UPI?
Yes — we accept all major Indian and international credit/debit cards at the front desk, plus UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm). That said, keep some cash handy for Tawang town — the monastery, tea houses and village stops are often cash-only.
